Memories | March 17th, 2005 | By Wulf |
House: Gryffindor Word Count: 100 Challenge: Me, Myself and I Characters: Ginny or Hermione Author's Notes: Harry dies in the last battle, in my AU, so it could be either one.
I remember the last train ride I took back from Hogwarts. I remember being in the car, listening to the clack, clack, clack of the train on the rails. I remember watching the rain sheet down on the windows. I remember the horrid numbness that had no room for tears yet.
I remember my friends descending on me to ‘cheer me up’.
I remember screaming at them to leave me alone before threatening to hex them all to hell and back again. I remember leaning my head on the icy glass, wishing that I could be as cold as you.

Insanity Rising | March 17th, 2005 | By Wulf |
House: Gryffindor Characters: Sirius Challenge: Pound Word Count: 100 Notes: Kinda dark. Sirius in Azkaban.
Locked in hell, he counted the stones, the bars on the window, the incessant surges of the tide below, the prisoners, cataloging each sound.
One of them ranted. One of them screamed. One of them muttered curses in seven different languages.
Sirius pressed his head against the bars, listening as the night shadows fell across his cell. There was something new tonight…someone was pounding his fists into the walls. Or maybe this was just a new form of insanity, a new low to sink to, by one of the other prisoners.
He never noticed his hands were covered in blood…

Black Wedding | June 7th, 2005 | By Wulf |
House: Gryffindor
Word Count: 100
Challenge: Summer Break
Characters: Bellatrix, Rodolphus, Voldemort.
Author's Notes: Dark and disturbing...
Having been engaged since birth, Bellatrix never wondered if Rodolphus was going to ask her to marry him.
"How about the end of the summer?"
"Fine."
No declarations of undying love, no vows of faithfulness. Neither of them expected it, neither of them cared. Preparations were made all that summer; dresses picked out, flowers selected, catering ordered, a guest list assembled.
Carrying black roses, Bellatrix pledged herself to Rodolphus as coolly as she pledged herself to the Death Eaters. From the corner of the garden, she could feel Voldemort’s heated gaze all throughout the ceremony, branding her as his alone.

The End | January 19th, 2005 | By Wulf |
House: Gryffindor Word Count: 100 Characters/Pairings: Bellatrix and Lucius Author's Notes: r&r please *G*
“What do you mean, He’s late?” Bellatrix advanced on Lucius, hands clenched in rage, face contorted in fury, “The Dark Lord is never late.”
Lucius drew himself erect and responded icily, looking down his nose at Bellatrix “I mean exactly what I said. The Dark Lord is late returning from the Potter’s.”
Crack.
The other Death Eaters jumped as Rodolphus appeared in the inner circle, his eyes burning holes into anyone that dared meet them as he relayed the news. Other than a short, sharp, scream from Bellatrix, no one said a word once Rodolphus finished.
Not late, then. Gone.

The Wedding | January 19th, 2005 | By Wulf |
House: Gryffindor Word Count: 100 Characters/Pairings: Hermione and Ron Author's Notes: r&r please *G*
Hermione stood in front of the mirror, running nervous hands over the front of her wedding dress. Her stomach lurched at the thought. A knock at the door, a redhead peeked in, “Come in, Ron.”
Ron opened the door the rest of the way, a wilted bunch of flowers in his hand, “Hermione,” he gulped and thrust the roses into her hands. Flushing crimson, he turned to leave, saying miserably over his shoulder, “You know I love you. Both of you.”
As the door closed, Hermione whispered into the deafening silence, “Harry asked me first, Ron. You were too late.”
